The 2012 U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree will be visiting the Town of Dillon, CO on November 7th, 2012! Today, the 2012 U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree is being cut from Meeker, CO and soon it will make its way through Dillon, CO, on its journey to the White House in Washington, D.C., shortly after Thanksgiving.
The 2012 U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree will be on display in Dillon, CO, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Wednesday, November 7th. The event coincides with what is being called the Town of Dillon’s 1st Annual Hibernation Hoedown and will allow event goers to take their picture with the 2012 U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree, enjoy hay rides, hot apple cider, and some great live music, including: Arnie J. Green at 10:30 am, The Grinz at 1:00 pm, & Big Onions at 3:00 pm.
