It is officially ski season in Summit County, Colorado! Arapahoe Basin opened on October 17, 2012, with one ski run and a terrain park. They currently have an 18-inch base, which continues to increase as we receive more snow and they continue to make snow. The other larger ski areas in Summit County are all scheduled to open at the beginning of November.
