YeeHa! The Breckenridge, Colorado, ProRodeo 2012 starts this weekend, August 4-5, 2012. This is a new addition to Breckenridge’s jam-packed summer schedule. Bring your family and friends down to the Breckenridge rodeo grounds starting at 3:30 pm, when the gates will open, and the festivities begin. The Breckenridge rodeo starts at 5 pm and is expected to last around 2 hours. Make sure to bring your jacket and/or rain gear as the Breckenridge rodeo will occur rain or shine.
If you get to the Breckenridge rodeo early enough, you can join the PRCA Pro Rodeo Clown for a behind-the-scenes tour of the chutes at 4 pm. Don’t forget to sign your children up for the Mutton Busting or Calf Scrabble as well. After enjoying your Cowboy BBQ Dinner, which is served from 3:30-7 pm nightly, sit back and enjoy the Breckenridge Rodeo with exciting events such as: Barrel Racing, Team Roping, Steer Wrestling, Bull Riding, and more.
Put on those cowboy boots and get yourself down to the Breckenridge Rodeo this weekend! If you can’t make it this weekend, don’t worry, the Breckenridge ProRodeo will be held every weekend through September 2nd.

Transportation: The Free Ride will bring rodeo guests to and from the Breckenridge Station (Gondola) every 30 minutes.
