The Breckenridge Real Estate market is on the rise, and Breckenridge homes have been making a comeback as well. In 2012, the Breckenridge home market saw the first signs of improvement since 2008. While prices are still down compared to the top of the market in 2008, prices for Breckenridge homes appear to be on the upswing.
In 2008 Breckenridge homes averaged $355 per square foot. Since 2008, the lowest average sold price per square foot was in 2011 at $274, with 2012 finishing slightly higher at $286 per square foot. The Breckenridge homes market is still down -19.44% from the height of the Breckenridge Real Estate market.
Breckenridge home sales have been on the rise as well. In 2012, there were 242 Breckenridge homes sold, ranging in price from $150,000 to $5,570,130. As of January 2013 there are 168 Breckenridge homes for sale, ranging in price from $259,000 to $5,435,000.
