The rumors are true: the Breckenridge Ski Resort has extended the 2013 ski season and will be open April 19-21, 2013! Breckenridge has received well over a foot of snow in the past few days, which should make for some great spring skiing this weekend. If you have a season pass, it will work this weekend at Breckenridge, and if you don’t have a pass, Breckenridge is offering $50 lift tickets. The Breckenridge Ski Resort will be open Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 9 am – 4 pm with 1,180 acres and 6 lifts on Peak 8 only.
