Copper Uncorked Winter Wine Festival – Copper Mountain CO

Krystal Knott February 6, 2012

The First Annual Copper Uncorked Winter Wine Festival kicks off this Friday, February 10, 2012, at Copper Mountain Ski Resort. This tantalizing three-day event features a myriad of mouth-watering wines & beers, delightful food, and snow-themed festivities. According to the Copper Mountain website, the celebration “aims to be the most attitude-free wine & food festival in the Colorado Rockies,” which is great news for those who want to spend some quality time enjoying fresh powder, great food, and sumptuous wine without the haughty pretense.

The event runs February 10 – 12 and commences with a Vintner’s Reception (light appetizers and live music) Friday the 10th from 5:30 – 7:30, followed by a Colorado Wine Maker’s Dinner from 8:00 pm in the Copper Mountain Conference Center. The festival features many exceptional attractions including a Burger and Beer Challenge, a Beer Seminar by Blue Moon Brewing, a Wine & Chocolate Seminar, and more. The Colorado Wine Maker’s Dinner will be hosted by Creekside Cellars, which is sure to be an incredible culinary experience pairing Colorado wines and fresh ingredients to astound the most discerning palate. The Copper Uncorked Winter Wine Festival comes to a fantastic close on Sunday, February 12 with an inviting “Brunch with Bubbles or Bloody’s” from 8:00 am – 11:00 am.

Many ticket options are available, including the VIP Deluxe Festival Pass for those who want to enjoy every aspect of the festival, even Fast Tracks Early Access to the Slopes and a delicious Bloody Mary bar!
