The third annual Festival of Trees in River Run is this week in Keystone, Colorado. The trees are open to the public for viewing and bidding December 13 – 16th (see schedule below). Businesses around the county decorate trees of all different sizes, then the public has the opportunity to place bids on the decorated trees. All proceeds from the Festival of Trees go to the Summit County Orchestra and Summit School of Dance.
Thursday, December 13, 2012 — 4:00-6:00 pm
Friday, December 14, 2012 — 4:00-6:00 pm
Saturday, December 15, 2012 — 5:00-7:00 pm
Sunday, December 16, 2012 — 3:00 pm and 6:30 pm (during The Nutcracker Suite & Holiday Concert performances)
The last time to bid on a decorated tree is during the intermission of The Nutcracker Suite & Holiday Concert performance at 6:30 pm at Warren Station in River Run. Winning bids will be announced at the end of the performance. After you enjoy your time on the slopes or before a delicious dinner in River Run, stop by Warren Station to view and bid on decorated trees.
