You’ve tasted the Breckenridge Distillery spirits – but have you tasted their food? If you’re working up an appetite while looking at available properties for sale in Breckenridge, Colorado, stop by the brand new Breckenridge Distillery Restaurant. Featuring “new American cuisine with a spirited twist”, this new hot spot is being headed by celebrity “Top Chef” Daniel O’Brien.
Located on Airport Road in Breckenridge, the menu will be ever-changing with seasonal options. Currently, you can find selections such as lamb pot pie, smoked trout, pig brisket with bulgogi sauce and various handmade pastas.
Billie Keithley, the distillery’s “liquid chef,” has crafted a cocktail list that falls into one of two categories: her creations (try the Alpine Skyline with Breckenridge bourbon, cherry gastrique, honey, Teakoe tea, and barrel-aged whiskey bitters) and more classic offerings like the 1860s-inspired Torino with Breckenridge bitters, sweet vermouth, and orange.
They are also featuring a specific menu for Valentine’s Day! The new Distillery restaurant is just the first of a multi-phase project, which also includes production expansion and plans for a brewery and winery in the future. Like the ski resorts, the Distillery sees the expansion as an opportunity to become a major piece to creating a destination location.
They are also working on upping the entire production facility. Previously, the Distillery could produce about two barrels a day, but the continuing expansion will soon give it the ability to produce around 30 barrels a day. While it already distributes to 45 states, this will allow the brand to be on more shelves.
