The Tubbs Romp to Stomp Snowshoe Series in Frisco, Colorado is being held on Saturday, March 3, 2012. This exciting snowshoe event is a great way to get outdoors with your family, friends or by yourself, where you can enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the Rocky Mountains. The Tubbs Romp to Stomp Snowshoe Series is being held at the Frisco Nordic Center in Frisco, Colorado. All proceeds from this spectacular event go to the Denver Metropolitan Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
All ages are welcome to attend the Tubbs Romp to Stomp Snowshoe Series in Frisco, Colorado. There is a 3k Race, 3k and 5k Walk and Lil Romper Dash. If you arrive early enough, you can also enjoy a tasty Pancake Breakfast. Don’t forget all of this goes for a great cause, Susan G. Komen for the Cure!
Tubbs Romp to Stomp Series in Frisco, Colorado Schedule:
7:30-9:15 am — Registration & Check-In at the Peninsula Recreation Area Building next to the Frisco Nordic Center.
8 am — Pancake Breakfast at the Frisco Nordic Center
9 am — 3k Snowshoe Race Start
9:20 am — Lil Romper Dash, kids 12 and under with a registered adult
9:30 am — 3k or 5k Snowshoe Walk Start
10:30 am — Racer Awards & Sweepstakes
11 am — Awards, Sweepstakes & Closing Ceremony at the Main Stage
Make sure you register early as this snowshoe event always sells out. You can register as an individual or a team. If you can’t make it to the event, you can still participate as a Virtual Snowshoer. A Virtual Snowshoer will still receive a goody bag and, of course, will be donating to a great cause! If you don’t have your own snowshoes, you can demo a pair onsite the day of the event.
Registration Fees:
Pre-Registration (ends 02/29) — Adult $37, Lil Romper $27, Virtual Snowshoer $37
Day of Event Registration — Adult $42, Lil Romper $32
