The Breckenridge Ski Area recently announced they are extending the 2012 season in honor of its 50th Anniversary! Rather than closing the ski area on Sunday, April 15, 2012, the Breckenridge Ski Area will stay open two additional weekends in April. Skiers and riders will be able to enjoy spring skiing on Peak 8, including the terrain park and the Imperial Express Chairlift. The Breckenridge Ski Area will be open Friday through Sunday, April 20-21 and April 27-29 from 9 am – 4 pm. In celebration of their 50th season, the Breckenridge Ski Area is offering the last two weekends of skiing for $50 per day, including free parking in the Gondola parking lot.
