Sandcastle Competition – Frisco is hosting the 6th annual sandcastle competition at the Frisco Marina on Saturday, August 20th at 10 am. Kids ages 1-12 are invited; admission is free. Pre-registration is encouraged as space is limited.
Live Jazz with Dave Pietro – Friday, Aug 19th at the Quandry Grille, enjoy live jazz with Dave Pietro. This benefit supports the Mountain Top Children’s Museum and features a silent auction, cash bar and dinner specials with 10% of all food sales going towards the benefit. Breckenridge International Festival of Arts (BIFA) – This unique, multi-arts festival is hosted by BreckCreate and is a celebration of adventure, play, and creativity. The 10-day festival runs through August 22nd and will feature a variety of performances, workshops, visual arts and more, inspired by themes of the environment and mountain culture.
Dillon Amphitheatre Concert Series – Friday night, the Town of Dillon will host Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers, and on Saturday night, enjoy live music from Stanley Jordan Trio. Both concerts are from 7 pm – 9 pm at the Dillon Amphitheatre offerings sweeping views of Lake Dillon and the Ten Mile Range mountains.
32nd Annual Genuine Jazz & Wine Festival – Mingle with top-notch musicians in Copper Mountain August 19th – 21st for smooth jazz, fusion and mainstream jazz performances. All ticketed events are held indoors – there are no weather-affected events. Pair live music with some of the nation’s finest wines.
Mountain Town Music Festival – Come enjoy free live music from nationally recognized musicians and some of Colorado’s summer harvest goods in Keystone’s River Run Village this weekend. Enjoy treats like Rocky Ford melons and Olathe sweet corn – plus a fireworks show on Saturday night!
