These trails provide excellent leaf-peeping with a side of adrenaline. Plan your trip quick as these colors won’t hang around very much longer!
The name says it all. Flow through the fall foliage on this built-up single-track. This intermediate trail features berms, bumps, and jumps as well as fantastic fall colors. While this is a two-directional trail, it should be treated as downhill only while on a bike. Aspen Alley rides fast through the trees, boasting a 543-foot descent over one mile. Currently, this trail is in ideal condition with minimal dust and zero ruts or wet spots to speak of. Riding early in the morning, late at night, and on weekdays is recommended, as this is a very popular trail for hikers as well as bikers.

If you are looking to get off the beaten trail to do some leaf-peeping, then Gold Dust is worth a ride. This is definitely a ride that you want to shuttle, as it starts near the Continental Divide in Breckenridge and ends in Como, Colorado. While the trail difficulty is a blue-rated trail, there are many sections of the 8-mile trail that ride more like a black. The most interesting part of this trail is the variety of terrain that you encounter. There are fast downhills, flowy sections through a drainage ditch, rock gardens, boulders, and flowing single-track through aspens. The trail includes a nearly 2,000 foot decent and a difficult 560-foot climb over 8 miles.
