Keystone Colorado is hosting the 3rd annual Blue Ribbon Bacon Festival June 22-23, 2013. Both Saturday and Sunday, from 1-6 pm, bacon aficionados can come together in River Run Village in Keystone, Colorado, to embrace their love for bacon. With bacon purveyors cooking up a variety of bacon-inspired cuisines, including chocolate-covered bacon! While delighting your senses with salted, rubbed, smoked, and dried bacon at Keystone, Colorado’s Bacon Festival, you may want to enjoy a refreshment or two at the beer tent.
Besides eating and drinking at the Keystone Bacon Festival, there will also be live music by Hamilton Loomis, Hell’s Belles and The SteelDrivers both days from 1:30-3:45 pm and 4:15-5:50 pm on the River Run main stage. Parents and kids will be kept busy at the Keystone Kidtopia Play Park, where for $49 (or there is à la carte pricing) you will get an all-day pass to play. The Keystone Kidtopia Play Park day pass includes a bounce house, bungee jumping, rock climbing, gem panning, mini-golf, boat rental, and a $15 voucher for BBQ at the Summit House.
