The New Year's Eve Celebrations in Keystone Colorado, this year are sure to be a great way to ring in 2012. Festivities start at the Lakeside Village Keystone Ice Rink from 5-10 pm, where family and friends can ice skate on North America’s Largest maintained outdoor ice rink. For adults, there will be champagne ice bars, and for the kids in all of us Keystone has s'mores kits to toast marshmallows around the fireplaces. At 8 pm look high in the ski for a beautiful fireworks display over the Keystone Ice Rink. From 9 pm – 1 am, the Tenderfoot Lounge in the Lodge & Spa at Keystone will have live music as well.
If you are spending your New Year's Eve in Keystone, Colorado in River Run, there is plenty of fun to be had as well. Starting at 6 pm, River Run in Keystone, Colorado will light off their fireworks show over Dercum Mountain. This impressive display will be followed by a Torchlight Parade down the Keystone Ski Area slopes. Warren Station in Keystone is the place to be for live music as Missed the Boat will go on at 9:30 pm, followed by the very popular Head for the Hills at 10:45 pm. Doors open at 8:30 pm, tickets are $15 in advance or $20 at the door.
